Following Undergrad, Dr. Cope pursued a Master's degree in Applied Microbial Systems Analysis. During his internship, working toward his Master's degree, he worked at a Biotech start-up company developing an artificial salivary gland. Dr. Cope completed his dental education at UConn School of Dental Medicine in Farmington where he frequently participated in dental service trips, including three to Honduras and two to Guatemala, many with Dr. Zachary Grillo. Additionally during his education, Dr. Cope was involved with clinical research including antibiotic stewardship and dental implants. Dr. Cope completed a General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital. Dr. Cope is committed to continuing education and is an active member within the Connecticut Study Club for Excellence in Dentistry.
