Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin, wafer-like shells used to make immediate improvements in a patient’s smile.

By attaching veneers to the front of the patient’s teeth, the doctors are able to correct visible flaws such as gaps, chips, cracks and rough edges. Veneers can also be used to straighten teeth that are mildly crooked or to adjust the appearance of misshapen or discolored teeth.

Minimal-Prep and No-Prep Options

Veneers are among the most popular solutions for Grillo Dental’s cosmetic patients. The doctors prefer to take a conservative approach to veneer placement. They have the ability to do no-prep or minimal-prep veneers, depending on what is best for the patient. No-prep veneers are bonded directly to the surface of the tooth and do not require the tooth enamel to be altered. To promote a solid bond for minimal-prep veneers, some of the natural tooth surface is removed before the veneer is attached.

Try Out Your New Smile

After a comprehensive exam, the doctor designs and places temporary veneers that closely match how the final veneers will look. The patient evaluates their new smile and returns for any adjustments before the final veneers are prepared. The doctor will either make the veneers with on-site CEREC® technology or have them crafted by skilled ceramists at the dental lab he uses for beautiful restorations.

Beautiful, Natural-Looking Results

Many patients are so happy with the improvement they see with their temporary veneers, they say they want to keep them. But when they see the final veneers, they know they have the smile they’ve been dreaming of—a clean and natural aesthetic look without chips, gaps or stains.
